Abstract
In the fourth century AD a great religious transformation took place and that was the
freedom of christian communities - to carry out religious orders - was followed by the
commanding officer of Milan ( 313 AD ) by the Roman emperor Constantin. The
freedom of the religion of Christ and publishing and promoting it as the official religion
of the empire disrupted the political equations of the world on those days.
The sassanid government was influenced by the happened event and evolution caused by
it. Sassanian kings - who through the policy of Diaspora resettled a massive number of
Christains in Iranian cities unwittingly helped spreading Christianity in Iran.
Interaction with religious minorities especially Christians was one of the most important
issues for the Sassanian kings. The growing trend of the non - citizenry class , the
religious dissonance with the Iranian zoroastrian society , and the consolidation of the
Sassanian clerics - although resulted in a period of persecution for Christians - but limited
the relations of Christians with , the Sassanid community and counting on this weak
relationship was a fault. They have also exerted a strong cultural and social relationships
which is the purpose of this study. This paper uses the analytical method in historical
research and seeks to explain the role of cultural and social factors in the relations
between the Christians and Sassanian empire. Research findings show that , apart from
political factors , cultural and social factors have also been influential in these
relationships
